Salmon Production Facility Japan

Located close to the iconic Mount Fuji, less than two hours' trucking distance from the two largest cities in Japan, Tokyo and Yokohama, Proximar is a fully-integrated indoor salmon farm that will include a hatchery, nursery, grow-out and processing facilities, as well as management, operational and processing zones. Proximar will be the first large-scale RAS facility in Japan, serving the Japanese market with fresh Atlantic salmon, harvested the same day. Operating at full capacity, Proximar has a target production volume of 5,300 tons (HOG) at its first facility. Established in 2015, Proximar Seafood is a Norwegian company listed on Euronext Growth at the Oslo Stock Exchange. It is supported by industrial owners, who have accumulated significant knowhow from across the Norwegian aquaculture industry.
